Here's my Champ at level 29. Just check out her outfit!
Nice brown shoulder pads with a matching brown chest armor. A touch of red gloves and scale armor leggings with a comfortable olive chain mail boots! Rawr

Looks very similar to my lvl 27 Guard, but a kin member is about to make me a full set of armor. Another can make dye pots. I'll post pics when it's all said and done : )

    Sounds good!
I'm going to post an update pic of my Champ. I got a new chest armor for her. Matches nicely with the red cloak, gloves and leggings.

Updated pic. Red color by default, I didn't dye anything.

Not a high quality pic, but you get the idea. This is part of the new armor. I will post another, higher quality pic when I get the rest.

Here's Borgalv with new everything (except maybe the shoulder guards) since the introduction blog

Boots are from Trollshaws quest. Originally purple-ish. Dyed umber.
Leggings are made by Arcania, then dyed umber. Came out green-ish originally.
Gauntlets are from drake quest in North Downs/Angmar. Original color shown.
Armor is quest item from what's-that-quest (don't remember which, but from North Downs). Original color shown.

    Those are nice lookin armors!
I like Borgalv's boots. Prolly gonna head over to Trollshaw after I finish up these quests in North Downs.

I just a new blade xD
Looks pretty cool. I'm gonna upload the pic later today. I just notice that the blade glows when globins and orcs go  after  you, lol.

    Here's the clown hat

  • By: Michael Posted on May 27, 2007 at 1:12 PM

Here's the infamous Conehead hat :)

  • By: Michael Posted on May 27, 2007 at 1:15 PM

The bear hat. This Hobbit looks like a little teddy bear, lol.

  • By: BraveBrain Posted on May 28, 2007 at 7:16 PM

I think I've got a few of those "lying in bed" screenshots myself, Michael. lol

Did you by the way mix up your fashion topic and your silly hat topic? hehe

Nice find for the Coneheads similarity. If I had a helm like that I would start a kinship with the obvious name Coneheads.

Yeah, that was my fault. I posted these screenshots in the wrong topic. I had this window opened along with the silly hats page opened and I uploaded these images here instead of the other topic by mistake...lol.

Okay, back on topic...Michael! lol. This is what I have at level 29. My armor count is 1087, which still isn't great for a guardian. The kin member that was making stuff for me decided to quit before I could get the other pieces.

  • By: Michael Posted on May 29, 2007 at 1:48 PM

lol. Back in topic. That's good crafting there. What's the ideal armor count for a Guardian at lvl 29? My Champion is lvl 32 and I only have about 567 armor count, lol. It gets the job done.

  • By: BraveBrain Posted on May 29, 2007 at 2:49 PM

    Loooooking gooood, Torhad!

Must be nice having that much armour. There's not a whole lotta bears that can subtract that much armour with their dang skill. I think I've seen 1.1k armour loss from some though. Just don't remember which area. Probably Trollshaws.

    One word, "Wow!"

Seems like someone has done something I've been dreaming off doing (Phew! Then I won't have to do it).

That "someone" is jshanman (nickname from LoTRO forums), and that "something" is making a radar map of Middle-Earth.
Imagine the work behind that, since you have to screenshot every few meters to cover it all...

Anyways, he put it together and used Google Earth as map engine, and the result can be seen on this link:
